At a young age, my parents registered me in dance – years went by, and what started as a kid’s activity turned into a personal quest for understanding how movement speaks. Cultures have always poured themselves through dance and art, as it speaks and whispers its wisdom. This concept has been particularly intriguing within the subject of past lives because footprints of ancient experiences are kept alive through the various mediums of art, movement, and language – and this has always been a topic of great interest to me.
Therefore, I turned my dance experience into an opportunity to explore social behavior through movement, earning my BA in Social Science with a concentration in Dance. In tandem, I further explored movement through Yoga and became a 200-hour certified instructor. This doubled my curiosity in the power of energy, as this is the breath of communication in all its forms. As a result, I dove into the study of energy healing and, like communication, I became fascinated by the power of life force as a form of communication and also, in how its movement or lack thereof creates an array of states throughout one’s life. I became a Reiki practitioner (3rd Degree Master level) and explored the power of customizing energy healing through the many modalities that intertwine the very essence of communication for people to rekindle their sense of self. Furthermore, my medium of movement slowly transmuted to the visual arts as well, and I have continued to study how the practice of meditation can be transposed into something we can create and see in the physical realm – making the subconscious conscious, adding an Art Therapy certification to my toolbox.
Moreover, my ongoing thirst for learning guided me to complete my M.Ed to further harness the modalities that can guide my instructional skills – particularly through the psychology behind the stages of cognitive development, as this awareness leads one to examine the angle of how people process the world around them – learn and even hold trauma in the body.
This connection of psychology and energy further fueled my intrigue for past lives as a captivating avenue that holds many puzzle pieces that can bring so much light into our
ongoing quest for understanding who we are in our present life. After experiencing the power of regression and living the intense results of that moment. Along with the valuable food for thought content that the past life regression brought me to better understand my current life, I dove into hypnotherapy, particularly for past life regressions and connected it to the psychology of our senses to better assert how we retrieve information from our energy bodies so it can help us grow, heal, connect and restore the power of our communication within our mind, body and spirit.
I am always eager to align my efforts with something greater than myself. Learning from others and sharing ideas are essential parts of my growth, both personally and professionally. Reminding myself to always stay curious, work hard, and take a moment to appreciate the journey with all the ups and downs – this helps us connect and cheer each other on so we can all support our unique and beautiful journeys to becoming the highest versions of ourselves that we can be. It is my hope to make a meaningful impact on the world around me, and I am thrilled to share my energy healing practice with you all.
